What you talk about sounds a lot like infatuation and I dont think thats 'love' in the lifelong sense. You're young - there will be other girls. I think you should work on your relationship with your own dad first, family should always come first.

The police, huh? Sounds like ur g/f dumped u. I was 19 when I had my son, who is now in the USAF at that same age, 19. So many ppl told me I was ruining my life by having my son. I didn't know what they meant by that til YEARS later. Just as I'm telling you, ur too young for this kind of dysfunction. Please move on. It's not the fact ur lips touched ur ex, it's the fact ur x was even at ur moms house to begin with. And police don't call ur house to tell u to leave "the girl alone" unless it's her daddy's friend. Other wise they serve you papers called a protective order, ordering u to leave her alone. The army? R u ready for the emotional humdrum of bootcamp? This girl is pulling ur leg and ur letting her. U stay away, stop ALL contact including internet! See if she contact U. Then u will know if SHE loves u back. I'm afraid for u, dude. If ur arrested before boot camp or right afterwards...NOT good. Talk to a minister or therapist and get this OUT before going to bootcamp or u'll have an even Worse BOOTCAMP EXPERIENCE.

Doesn't sound like she loves you that much, bud...Try to get back together with her before the training, then marry her after.

asking her dad out for a drink will make things worse (remember he doesn't like you) so you just ask him can you and him talk man to man
