Here is the official Proclamation:
(accordingly, it would seem that flags should return to full mast on Friday the 26th, the 31st day after President Ford's passing)
FYI, in case you are putting a flag up every day, all the flag-related (and non-flag-related, for that matter) proclamations made by the President can always be found on the White House website.

NOW, THEREFORE, I, GEORGE W. BUSH, President of the United States of America, by the authority vested in me by the Constitution and laws of the United States, in honor and tribute to the memory of Gerald R. Ford, and as an expression of public sorrow, do hereby direct that the flag of the United States be displayed at half-staff at the White House and on all buildings, grounds, and Naval vessels of the United States for a period of 30 days from the day of his death. I also direct that for the same length of time, the representatives of the United States in foreign countries shall make similar arrangements for the display of the flag at half-staff over their Embassies, Legations, and other facilities abroad, including all military facilities and stations.
He died on 26th December 2006, God Bless both President Ford and President Davis; you and yours along with the Southern People.

That guy became a AMERICAN VETERAN like me, no longer a extraordinary guy yet a guy that takes satisfaction in what he did, he had each and every good to do what he did. He was the best Pres we ever had. he didn't do anything at all.left it all to Congress.that's a good idea for most Presidents to follow.,as they usually don't know there arses from a hole in the ground.Look above me for the answer.
