Hepatitis is an inflamation of the liver. There are basically 3 kinds, A, B,and C. B is very easil transmittted and has a vaccine for it. C is also easily transmittal primarly thru IV drug abuse and some types of sexual contact. Hepatitis can be fatal and some types require a liver transplant depending on how much liver damage is done. They try to treat C with interfon shots.
