Because God made you for a reason, he also decided when you would be born and how long you would live. He planned the days of your life in advance, choosing the exact time of your birth and death. The Bible says, "You saw me before I was born and scheduled each day of my life before I began to breathe. Every day was recorded in your book!" [Psalm 139:16]

If the above is true and christian believe in the bible, its the base of there religion. Then when they go against abortions, arent they going against God's Will?

In response to hopem.
If God planned everyone's life and death. Then both doctors and the mother are blameless. They are just puppets fufilling Gods Plan. That's the point I don't understand about christians. God obviously wants that child to die. He planned your life in advance right? So the child, mother, and doctor are just fufill Gods Plan. We should praise them for fufill Gods plan. My christian friend can't seem to get the idea. The bible contradicts itself so many times.

It is incorrect that our time of death is predetermined, or that anything is for that matter. God did/does have a plan for each of us, but we remain free to choose our ultimate destiny. This was the whole point of the Garden of Eden. Just because God may have scheduled/or foreordained me to be the President of the United States does not mean I can't choose a different course. Therefore, what you are quoting is pretty much saying that he has set forth a path for each of us, and has foreordained each of us to do and be a certain person, but we can go against God's will and these things will not be so. Thus, people who are committing abortions are free to do so, but still may be going against God's will by exercising their free agency. Of course, the fetus (or whatever you want to call it - from your question you're appear to be assuming they are a life because you are arguing their life was already scheduled, which it couldn't be if it wasn't a life), if aborted, is denied the ability to make any choices, because they are brutally taken away.

Hope that clears it up.

I think you answered your own question through scripture. It is God who determines the day of your birth and death, not the hands of an abortionist. You've skipped a step: it's not Christians interrupting God's will, but the one aborting the child. Just like murder, you end an entire family line when you end a life. That life had the potential for a whole other branch of life.
But, you know what? Even if you have aborted a child, doctor or patient, God loves you more infinitely than you can imagine. You're still His creation and He still has wonderful plans for you. That's the great thing about life...if you have breath, there's always hope.

God would know that they were going to be aborted, just as God would know another person was going to be murdered at the age of 15. That doesn't mean God supports murder, in fact, he explicitly commands against it. People have agency though -- they have the agency to choose good and evil. During the period of gestation the person is just as human as when they are just born, 15, 30, 60, or 90, there are just other ways of killing them before they are born (meaning abortion). God will not stop people from breaking commandments or doing evil things, God knows that it will happen, but he does not stop it because we need to have our agency. (Agency is a another topic for another time...I don't have 2 hours to answer this question to explain that. lol)

It's killing,
But not that I agree it's completely wrong. I think it requires a look into the situation. If the mother can not afford the baby, especially if she is single, then it would be hard to have a baby. Jobs don't always jump at the oppurtunity of providing for a single mother's needs.

no, its not against Gods will. God gave those people the gift of life and because a child could possibly be to inconvient for them they have an abortion. That is called murder where im from.

We as human persons to not have the right to play God deciding who lives or dies, that's Gods job. We as a society have loss the sense of the sacredness of human life.

By that logic, any morals are against God's will. Being against murder, rape, or any evil thing is contrary to your interpretation of Psalm 139.

KNOWING what will happen is not the same thing as wishing for that thing to happen.

MURDER was condemned with Cain & Abel. IT is still wrong. GOD has never said that we can "murder" anyone. You are attempting to play satan's part. Keep yourself open to the TRUTH and GOD will set you free!

To become a real Christian, we are told that we must HEAR the WORD in John 6:45, Jesus said, “It is written in the prophets, And they shall all be taught by God. Therefore everyone who has heard and learned from the Father comes to Me.” We are also told so in Romans 10:17 So then faith comes by hearing, and hearing by the word of God. We are told the we must BELIEVE in Hebrews 11:6 But without faith it is impossible to please Him, for he who comes to God must believe that He is, and that He is a rewarder of those who diligently seek Him. We are also told so in Mark 16:16, Jesus said “He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned.” and in John 5:24 "Most assuredly, I say to you, he who hears My word and believes in Him who sent Me has everlasting life, and shall not come into judgment, but has passed from death into life. We are told that we must REPENT (or turn from sin) in Luke 13:3 I tell you, no; but unless you repent you will all likewise perish. Also in Acts 17:30 Truly, these times of ignorance God overlooked, but now commands all men everywhere to repent. We are told to CONFESS CHRIST in Romans 10:9-10 that if you confess with your mouth the Lord Jesus and believe in your heart that God has raised Him from the dead, you will be saved. For with the heart one believes unto righteousness, and with the mouth confession is made unto salvation. We are also told in 1 Timothy 6:12 Fight the good fight of faith, lay hold on eternal life, to which you were also called and have confessed the good confession in the presence of many witnesses. We are to be BAPTIZED according to Acts 2:38 Then Peter said to them, "Repent, and let every one of you be baptized in the name of Jesus Christ for the remission of sins; and you shall receive the gift of the Holy Spirit.” and Mark 16:16 He who believes and is baptized will be saved; but he who does not believe will be condemned. We are to CONTINUE to be FAITHFUL UNTIL DEATH according to Revelation 2:10c Be faithful until death, and I will give you the crown of life. We also know that Paul wrote in Romans 14:12 each of us shall give account of himself to God. It is important that we not ignore what is written, change what is written, or add to what is written in the New Testament which is our Christian Guide. Have a great week.
