Feed your cat any food that doesn't have the ingredient "corn" as one of the first 3 listed. The first few ingredients listed on a bag or box of cat food is what the majority of the food is. Also avoid cat food with beef or chicken by-products. That means all the stuff from a cow or chicken that isn't good enough to put in human food. Something has to be done with the scraps so it is put into animal food which i think is wrong. So if you love your cat, why would you give him something thats not even good enough for you? I feed my cat EVOLVE. It is sold at pet supply stores, not your average supermarket. It is very healthy for him. It has all the vitamins and nutrients he needs and also has a whole list of fruits and vegatables in the ingredients which are very essentia. Everything is natural in it. It gives my cat boosts of energy everytime he eats it. Also...when looking for a dry food, try to find one that has cranberry in it. Cats are very prone to urinary tract infections and having cranberry in their diet is the best way to avoid this. Be sure to always have fresh water out for your cat and change it at least twice a day to keep it fresh. Get some good food for you cat. You will be happy you did in the long run because better food will help your cat live a longer and have a more active lifestyle. I hope this helps you make a good decision.

Why are you so set on feeding it this Blue? There are other foods out there. Wellness Core is a dry food. About $20 a bag, tho. My cats eat it. But if she is happy eating Purina why switch? Just some advice from experience: next time you have the cat at the vet have him take blood and check kidney levels. Dry food is hard on the kidneys. I had a cat who just passed away and barfed at least once a week for the four years I had her. I found out too late that she had bad kidneys. Had I known about it early on, I could have given her a different food to combat that. Cats with kidney problems tend to throw up a lot because their stomach produces more acid than normal.

Natural Choice Complete Care is a good one. Try to find a cat food that lists a meat as it's number one ingredient. Cats are exclusively carnivores and grain is just a filler for them. If you are looking for something less expensive, the regular Cat Chow in the blue bag actually has chicken as it's number one ingredient. It's not the best food money can buy, (and I really don't like a lot of the ingredients) but I have raised several cats on it, and they always did well.

A really good one that is hard to find is go! natural. Our local pet store only sells natural and healthy products and gave me a sample. Once I tried it, my cats went crazy for it. My female cat actually wakes me up every morning for it! We also were giving them Natural Choice, but my female cat prefers the go! food. It is higher in protein and has less grain than other dry foods. It is a product of Canada and I have only found it at one store locally. So you may not be able to find it. You can also ask you vet to recommend a good food. A lot of vets even carry food for sale.

"President's Choice" has come out with a new cat food called "Nutirtition 1st". It's #1 ingredient is chicken. It's available at the supermarket and is moderately priced, somewhere in between the "premium" and the cheaper stuff. It also comes in "hairball" control. 100% Guaranteed so if kitty doesn't like it call the 800#.
A good quality cat food also produces less waste, so the extra you pay for it you'll save in litter.
Mind you, my guys like "Friskies, with Carnation Milk". I had two cats, a domestic shorthair and a Siamese. Both ate nothing but plain old "Purina Cat Chow" for 23 and 19 years respectively!
Whatever you decide on, buy a small bag or one that's guaranteed. Any cat food your kitty won't eat donate to your local food bank. Mine has just started accepting cat and dog food. Low income families will spent money on pet food, sometimes going without food for themselves!
Hope this helps! XOXOXO for my cats to yours!

you can give your cat any kind of dry cat food but you need to test her/him out to find out which one he/she love or like the most. anything mix just try and find out which one is best for your cat. It is hard to tell you what is the best one. Your cat will like what ever you buy her/him. As long it's dry food. Good luck

Check the label for nutritional analysis. Cats are pure carnivores and need a high protein content in their diets. Whatever food you select should have the highest protein (at least 36%) available in a brand that you can afford.

Hi there...we feed cat foods which are devoid of corn, corn meal which are found on most commercial brands of cat foods (e.g. Science Diet, Purina, IAM's, Whiskas, Friskies, Meow Mix, etc). These are primary ingredients used as a filler which lowers the price of manufacturing for the consumer so they are low quality and have devastating effects to the cat's bodies in the long term since cats are obligate carnivores not grain eaters.
Foods that do not contain these ingredients are:

All of these use whole protein and are more beneficial to a felines long-term health.
