You can ask what he likes to do (hobbies, interests, and what makes him feel bored) and most of the time, if the guy really likes you he will try to carry on the conversation. All you have to do to inspire him to talk is just look into his eyes. He will surely feel how much you want to talk just by looking into his eyes. Good Luck! Have a good year.

Fact: everyone likes to talk about themselves. So ask about his hobbies, work, likes and dislikes.
Listen to what he has to say - this actually can make him feel really good about himself!
Also go prepared with a few timeless open questions:- e.g.
- what would your ideal job be in you can choose any job in the world?
- what are the most important things in your life?
- what sort of things make you happy?
These are questions that are open, fairly light hearted but at the same time reveal something about your date...
Good luck!

Talk about him, how good he looks, how strong he is, how you feel so lucky to be out with him, how superior he is. Guys like that kind of talk. But don't be sarcastic, if he is very thin or overweight don't say he looks like superman or anything, your compliments have to be sort of believable. Get a Theseus and look up complementary words you can apply. Make him feel really good about himself, his car, his clothes, whatever.

I just speak whatever comes to mind really, you can tell if he is worth it by how well you two click together :)
Use the first date as like a test, if he passes: go for it! If you find yourself sitting in awkward silence for 3 hours, just leave it.

don't talk about work or past relationships.keep it light on the first date.do not reveal a lot about yourself as you may come across as heavy.listen to what he is saying and have a good time.you never know you might hit it off.
wish i was going on a first date

Get drunk first, that usually takes away all of our inhibitions. But don't get stoned, that will probably make you more paranoid.Seriously though: be yourself, and tell him about yourself,ie. your likes ,dislikes, etc.I'm sure after you "break the ice" the conversation will take on a life of it's own.But remember to be a good listener also.
