Sure! Believe him until, and unless, he gives you reason not to! Good Luck!

Doesn't sound like a trust issue. Don't make it out to be more then it actually is. There are usually why men don't get anything serious at first. They want to be sure what they are getting into especially if they have had issues in the past. Now that he wants to date it is probably because he is sure. You should give him the chance without doubting him, since has not given you a reason to. Only when something happens and he is acting weird and doing things he normally won't do then you should be worried until then you have nothing to worry about

I believe in giving people second chances. have you heard the saying "you dont realize what you go ttil its gone" maybe thats what he did, and he couldnt find anyone like you within them years! If you not in a relationship or ne thing. what would it hurt to give him another chance?

If you still want to be with him, then do it. I'm sure he wouldn't tell you this for no reason. He was honest with you before about wanting to see other people, right? I say give it a go.

Maybe he matured a little, it has been three years. Go to dinner with him, talk to him and see if you can see a difference, if so, go for it!
