i have such bad pain on the top of my foot. when i rest it, then get up it kills, it feels like someone just dropped a ten pound weight. HELP

Well you really should see a doctor, but I have had that problem before and it turned out to be a bone that was broke but it was a clean break so there was not much swelling just a whole lot of hurting, so it could be that you broke it, but you don't remember doing so.

Don't sit around and suffer. Go see a doctor. Then, you'll know. My daughter had what the doctor said were "March fractures", which were little bone breaks. Doctor fixed her up just fine.

That is called pain. It is a lot of pain. You have something wrong or did something to hurt your foot and you should consult a podiatrist, foot doctor, about it
