Yes, I have, and it is sickening the way he takes advantage of people.

I am not an atheist but also do not buy into the farce that is Christianity...the 700 Club is just another extension of an overtly corrupt pyramid scheme posing as a religion...the Christian church is full of hypocrisy and the zealousness with which these people conduct themselves is enough to make me sick...there are more sinners in any church then there are anywhere else, turn your eye on your own house...why do people who so fervently profess their beliefs in God conduct secret gay relationships, use drugs, steal from their churches and parishoners and then lie about it? why are people to be forgiven for all their wrongdoings because they decide to accept Jesus? People could find just as much happiness praying to The Flying Spaghetti Monster, or The Invisible Pink Unicorn...

Unless things have changed drastically in the last ten years I was not aware that Christians watched the 700 club. The last time I watched it they spoke for 55 minutes about sending money and 5 minutes about Jesus. Out of the abundance of the heart, the mouth speaks.

I saw it a looong time ago. Recently, I tried to watch it but he was talking about detoxing or some vitamin supplement so my attention span wore out very soon. I heard good ole Pat got in pr trouble b/c he said something about the leader of Israel pretty much asked for it (he had a heart attack) b/c the Bible says no one should split the state of Israel and he did so b/c of diplomatic reasons...Obviously, I don't remember the details, but I'm going to look it up again. But, he doesn't seem to be a reliable source of information.

I've watched it, and I have not been impressed.
Reading and studying the Bible and other religious works (Quaran, Upanishads, Buddhists Suttas, etc.), attending religious services from many faiths, and sharing your time with many different types of God's children are really great, too. And there's no creepy guy trying to convince you to donate money.

I watch it on occasion because sometimes it's pure comic gold.
The best part where he folds his hands and furrows his brow and says: "There is a woman in Cincinnati with a bad case of hemorrhoids; the itching and burning are fading, the swelling is diminishing; your butt is healed!"

I have indeed. The degree of willful ignorance and outright lying on that program stunned me. I could barely get through a half hour of it. I saw a whole lot of people getting drunk on the self-serving praise coming from the preachers to their audiences, and the bile that they made up on the spot about their declared enemies.
It's nearly as bad as Faux News.

It's pretty funny... and the funniest part is when Pat Robertson will have to answer to God for using His name to fleece ignorant people of their money...

If you expect people who aren't already religiously insane to have a "conversion experience" watching the 700 Club, I beg to differ...lol.
