Bush is a holy rolling bible thumper. How do you think he got elected. Well, besides cheating all his votes came from Jesus land in the south.

do you really care? You're post is about as funny as a monkey trying to learn how to write.

Just kidding, I think Bush wants to believe in evolution, but he's too dumb to figure it out, and also too persuaded by the religious type to outwardly speak about it. My guess is, Bush believes he is really screwing up, but equally believes that he is doing a good job.

Let's call that second one, faith.

I do not believe he does

One thing I'm getting tired of seeing is the fact that "evolution is only a theory." Here is a small example of some other "theories"
-Theory of Gravity
-Atomic Theory
-Germ theory of disease (germs cause disease)
-Theory on Limits (What the entire base of calculus comes from)
Please stop using this as an attack on evolution

During the 2000 presidential campaign, a reporter asked GWB directly about his beliefs vis-a-vis evolution. Reputedly, he responded, "I think the jury's still out on evolution." Take whatever you want from that.

Evidently not. When he was asked this question during the Dover triel, he said that he felt that "both sides" needed to be taught. The problem, naturally, is the Creationist "side" has no basis in fact. No evidence, no experiments or tests, no predictions, just bald assertions.

As opposed to 150 years of solidly tested data.

Bush claims to be a christian, so my guess would be that evolution is contrary to his beliefs.

Nope, He is a Christian, though not a perfect one, but then, no one is for that matter, all have sinned, and being a Christian does not mean you are free from sinning, just forgiven, and that does not mean you have a lic. to sin for say, You are convicted by it, this is a long topic for me, and I can go on, but research the topic of Salvation and faith, and perhaps you will discover that for yoursleves.

I think that when he looks at the congress and senate, he wonders if there isn't more to evolution than he was told.
