Absolutely. Why wouldn't I?

I would want to know the truth, if there were some form of evidence available. While wondering, questioning, and discovery are enjoyable, I like to have the answers whenever possible. In the absence of hard answers, I must simply accept the knowledge that is available.

I guess we will all know in the end.

BTW - Knowledge of a God would not necessarily mean I would worship him.

I hope you see the irony (though I'm sure it's been pointed out to you by now).

Christians don't want to know they're wrong, despite the very obvious fact they are. You know how I came to this conclusion? Reading the Bible. If the main source of "proof" of the Judeo-Christian God is the Bible not even the resurrection of Johnny Cochrane could make a case for creationism.

Sure. To me, truth is the paramount issue here.

That said, it doesn't mean I want someone just telling me what they think. If they have no evidence to present on the issue, then all they are doing is saying they are right and I'm wrong, without anything to support it.

I don't believe that god does not exist. I just hold no belief in god, given there is no compelling evidence to suggest otherwise.

Not really. There is a reason that I do not believe. The concept of a jealous God offends me. I do not exist to glorify anyone, including a so called creator, who in my opinion is responsible for a large portion of human suffering over the ages. The god of the old testament acted like a spoiled child, IMHO. If there is suddenly proof of God, let us hope that it is Lord Ganesha.

If you belief in evolution was wrong wouldn't you want to know?

There is plenty of evidence AGAINST EVOLUTION:.
First, the 'Cambrian explosion'...... the millions of fossil types in Cambrian rock (oldest fossil bearing rocks) appear suddenly and fully formed and without any previous forms...IOW, there are no transitional forms.

Most well educated evolutionists, when forced to, will admit it, but very unwillingly, and even then they always want to seem to make new excuses for it. Usually they just don't say anything about it and hope noone finds out.

Of course. I don't hold them like they were some sort of sacrosanct, unexamined dogma. It's a reasoned conclusion.

However, given the centuries of examination of this topic and my fairly extensive reading and study, I don't think you have anything to offer.

You can see my reasons by clicking on the first blog entry in my profile.

If I was an atheist,I'd want to know.
When an Atheist posts links and such here,I click and read/watch what they have to say. You should always have the time to stop and question your beliefs.

If you are asking if it is OK to share - No it isn't. DO NOT try and convert me. Your choice your path. My choice my path. Your attempt will irritate me and I will hurt your feelings. This will make us both have a bad day. So keep quiet and we both can be happy.
