It depends on the end from which you are looking at terrorism.Even freedom fighters like Bhagat Singh and others were termed as terrorists by the then British Govt. of India. The Britisher have been ruling over India with an iron hand. So much so that a peaceful protest meeting at Jallanwalaaah Bagh was fired upon and many persons killed. The only action to register a strong protest against this was shooing down British officers which Bhagatsingh did.The attack on the Towers and the constant acts of terrosism indulged into in India are similar violent protests. America attached Iraq for reasons which it itself latter shamefacedly admitted were not true.It did similarly intruded in Afghanistan .The Arabs and the Afghans are too small to take on America openly. They are going the next best thing that is possible for them.Same is the thing in India. The Muslims in Kashmir have an arguable case that their inclusion in India was not proper, They are therefore protesting against it violently in Kashmir and also elsewhere in India. As an India I feel bad about it as I feel that we have a valid case , But then let us call them across the table and discuss the matter. If no final solution comes out through it let us appoint some agreed party to internene for an award. Until this is done there are going to be similar acts of so-called terrorism. It is the rejoinder of the weak to the injustice heaped by the strong. So there is nothing inherently wrong in the youngsters if they are turning towards terrorism. On the other hand it is a sign of their being alive and kicking.Let the world try to understand them. Just working up a Terrorism fever the world over would not help.

Not quite sure what you're asking. If you're asking "Why are youngsters turned in for terrorism", then it's probably because they have reasonable suspicion that the youngster has conspired to or has comitted an act of terrorism.

If you're asking "Why are youngsters turned to terrorism", then the answer is that the culture they grow up in has an unreasoning hatred of the free world and that is passed down to them from a very young age.
