I wish you people would understand the fine line between criticizing someone's religion with evidence and downright insulting them. If I say Islam preaches death to apostates and give fatwas to prove it, I'm criticizing. If I say Muslims are uncivilized ragheads, I'm insulting. Please don't mix up the two.

I think that is due to the fact that most Muslims are in denial It is like someone bringing out skeletons that are in your fathers closet. It is something that you just do not want to hear.
Most Muslims are also brought up in countries were freedom of speech is denied. They must learn that criticisms is how the truth comes out. It opens up debates. If we are wrong we become educated. If they are wrong they become educated. That is why no one who is 100% sure of his/her convictions should fear any criticism.

Why do some Americans make it look like Muslims are the only religon in the world that have commited murder?
Point 1:
If you compare the millions of murders/rapes/thefts/ect. commited by Americans to the number of Muslim terrorist acts you'll find that Americans have caused more deaths then the terrorists acts have done.
Point 2:
Just because there have been retarded Muslim terrorists that give Islam a bad name doesn't meant he rest of Muslims are terrorists.
I'm a Muslim - have not commited any terrorist acts or murders. None of my Muslim friends and family even go close to supporting terrorists/murderers.
Point 3:
If some people are going to judge us (Muslims) by what 'Islamic' retards have done - Then I might as well say "Oh an American murdered someone, they're all murderers! Oohh Americans are murderers because thousands of them murder people!"
What about the millions of OTHER Americans that aren't murderers/rapists/ect?
What about the millions of OTHER Muslims that aren't terrorists/murderers/ect?
Point 4:
Some people say that Muhammad was a rapist.
Show me proof - Show me some ancient peice of parchment that clearly states Muhammad was a rapist.
Show me one sentance of a Holy Book that specificly says that Muhammad was a murderer.
Show me an ACTUAL FIRST HAND SOURCE that tells me that Muhammad was a rapist.
Why don't some people read the Qua'ran themselves and tell where in the world it says he was a rapist.
The QUA'RAN ITS SELFS.
NOT A BOOK
NOT A WEBSITE
Just the Qua'ran.
Point 5:
People seem to forget that even though there are some violent verses in the Quaran there are also violent things in the Bible.
Point 6:
Most people tell me there are violent passages in the Qua'ran.
So what about the rest of the Quaran?
What about Soora El Bacara?
What about another passage in the Qua'ran that teaches Muslims to treat their parents with respect and never disobey them and to love them?
What about the rest of the peaceful passages?

There are lots of examples of irrational behavior with that religion.
I think that they just look for any opportunity to get offended so they can run wild with it and act crazy.
They don't differentiate between criticism and insults, it is all the same thing to them.
Any criticism of Islam is automatically an insult.

Generally speaking, Islam is not a religion of tolerence.
It's Muhammad and the Qu'ran, or you are an infidel.
Posing any question of the religion or the people is seen as a personal attack.
And as with most people who integrate their faith into their own identity, the more fervent the Muslim, the less tolerent they are.

Because Islam is a petulant child. All the problems in the world are somebody else's fault. Petulant children throw temper tantrums when they don't get their way. The difference is when muslims throw a tantrum, they tend to use guns and high explosives on just about anything and everything.
