I know they come over because they want a better life, but why doesn't their damn worthless government clean up their act and do something to keep their people over there?

The American people ARE going to do something about it!!!!! There are MANY groups going to march in Washington on June 14-16 to PROTEST illegal immigration!!!! Try to be there if you can!!!

If you can't make it to Washington, then march on your state capitol on those days!!!! I plan on going,so does my family!!!
We need to let our government know that they represent US, and NOT just the business owners!!!! Sometimes i think they FORGET who put them in office, and need to be reminded!!!

MAKE YOUR VOICE HEARD!!!!! March, write, call, and e-mail your representatives!!! NO AMNESTY FOR ILLEGALS!!!!!

Many people are doing something. Just because everyone hasn't taken to streets yet doesn't mean people aren't doing anything.

In many areas, and my area is one......the parents are afraid to take a public stance because their children pay the price in school. We had "open line" in the newspaper and people voiced their opinion and now don't because they changed the rules where you have to leave first and last names and address and people were being attacked for their view or their homes and cars were vandalized. Every protest brought about by the antis here have been sabatoged with violence from the Mexicans. You can't have anything that they aren't there to make it a fiasco. Now I know they think it's cool that their efforts are working......you'd just think since they had their say......they would have the courtesy to back off and let someone else have a say peacefully. But they don't.

There's groups to join and other things to do to make your voice heard. Most are grassroots organizations that aren't funded with your tax dollars like theirs are and it's harder to get a coordinated effort going. Thats why many join multiple groups to get the info out there. But they all need donations to keep going. Many are depleating their personal funds for the cause coz it takes alot of work, time, and money. So find some, join and start helping the efforts. You don't see immediate results. But we're accomplishing more where it counts, than just screaming in peoples faces. Once you get involved.....you will be amazed how complex this whole issue is. Just when you think you've heard it all......you get slammed with something more.

If something is going to be done.....we have to do it. Sign-up on FAIR and get some paper work going., sign some petitions and send some letters. Join some groups and share what news and reports are going on in your area concerning illegal immigration. I spend more than 12 hours a day doing this. Reading about this country and what's going on in other countries. We aren't the only ones suffering the effects of illegal immigration. And...trust me.....the other sights are more mature and discuss actual facts, than it does here. There's a few here who know whats going on and I can tell they're working hard on this.

The reason why the governments in Latin American countries do not want there people to benefit is because they might loose there power. They couldnt find people to work for 100 dollars a month. There is tremendous greed in these countries. They love to see America be the burden of there problems
I am in Bolivia where live in maids make $60 a month. They work 6 days a week and the people still cheat them out of there money.

They pay sales taxes and in some states are exempt from that too! To put it bluntly We are All Bing Pimped!

Until Americans regardless of race get together and have a Mass March on Washington about it, both Democrats and Republicans will keep them...emails, faxes and phone calls are not working and our elected official have signed onto the EC agenda of open Borders as they erode our rights away one by one and The Bill of rghts along with the United States Constitution!

Because it's not in the best of interests of business to shut out a ready supply of dirt-cheap labor. If the foreigners had a legal way to come here to work, they wouldn't be so cheap, and businesses might (gasp!) actually have to pay a living wage to American citizens. Business doesn't want that, business interests contribute to politicians and PACs, and so you'll never see an effective solution to this unless Americans make life h**l for their representatives.

I agree TOTALLY with you . It seems like there is all this talk & griping about it..but yet nothing is being done. I think we should start with employers who hire them. If they get caught hiring illegals they have to pay a hefty fine for each alien they employ. I have a cousin who works for our local DHR & she says the aliens make up about 85% of the people who come in for food stamps, free health care, etc...People who are legit & pay taxes & really need assistance can't get it because these freaks are using it up. I'm sick of it!!

you are correct on all accounts...i know one company where i live has an illegal workforce of 80% and they have been reported to i.c.e., fbi numerous times. the guy who brings the illegals here, houses, provides them jobs and has vans that bring them back and forth to work. they deny certain jobs to legals because they want to pay lower wages to the illegals. guess where they get their healthcare? they go to the hospital and the local human resources, they have their wives and families go to have babies and guess what they pay...nothing...its all absorbed by the hospital which in turn is paid by you and me...our tax dollars at work. if you or i went to the hospital and didn't have insurance or a check they would treat us as little as possible and send us on our way...i'm with you i don't care they come here if its legal and they help with the burden of the taxes and community services.

Dont let anger, get in the way of constructive measures to control immigration. Governments fail us all, they left for a better life yes beacuse thier goverments did not provide much, but then our goverment also let us down also by letting employers rely on cheaper labor.

The central premise of your question is flawed. Over 60% of Americans, across all political parties, support giving illegal aliens already here a path to legal status. That's a separate issue from securing the border.
