i have never seen in the bible where Jesus claimed religion(isolated group of beliefs)He taught the blueprint to life but im not sure whether you call that a religion

He was a very faithful Jew. Often in the Bible we see Christ refer to the teachings of the Old Testament and of the Jewish faith. Additionally, the Bible states that when He was 12 he was already very spiritual and wise in the teachings of His father (he was at the temple teaching/learning with the priests). He also explained that the old law (Law of Moses) was done away and that His teachings was the 'new law'. I think that is probably more than just a blueprint to life, but rather a path to God, with strict guidelines.

That being said, "religion" is not the end all, but merely a vehicle to teach those things/road markers, which will keep us on the path. It is the "law" we must focus on.

He was Jewish.
