Key logger and Antivirus?

How can I keep my key logger and not have my antivirus want to delete it?

Impossible to be specific without the name of the AV.
Open your AV (this can usually be done via the systray icon by double-clicking or right clicking) and check for settings that allow exceptions. This will usually be located in the scan section.
Once you find the proper section just choose your key-logger and add it to the list. If all else fails check the programs HELP section or the manufacturers website.
You will probably have to add it to your firewall as well since most will detect keyloggers and attempt to block them.
If by chance you dont have a firewall, get one fast. Zonelabs offers it's ZoneAlarm free though the Pro version is best.
