To look for dates on line, I mean isn't it kinda like putting a billboard of yourself up in your town saying contact me, I'm lonely. If you meet someone on a non dateing site you click with that is a little different. It just seems a tad desperate to me. What do you all think?

it is often desperate yes....

but thats how it is now.. the internet encourages anti-social behavior. there are very few things you cannot do online anymore.

you can live your life from yor bedroom!

i use to feel that way

but if you are moving to another part of the world
or want to meet someone inside a certain community

it could be a great tool.

personally, i am in demand and meet people everywhere i go all the time so there is a constant flood of opportunity

if people are shut in their houses or apartments or lives and have gotten into a rut of hiding from the world, then, I do not think the Internet is a good place to meet a paramour - you need to get the fcuk out there and live people!

Met my wife in Yahoo Personals. Do you really want someone you would meet trolling the bars for a woman. You dont find the good women doing shots passed out on a dance floor either....

i will recreate the "snow" scene interior the Breakfast club . i will produce greater methane gas than the common dairy farm. i will decide for 3 days without brushing my tooth. i will turn a 60 minute guy right into a fifty 9 2nd guy. And my maximum pathetic skill to this factor: i will make issues worse via apologizing.

Maybe about as pathetic as sex charged photos and attention getting questions on Yahoo Answers. Isn't looking for a piece on-line the same no matter where you find it?

There is no difference from putting your profile online or going to a bar trolling for dates.

I've met a couple of really nice people (women) online, but we agreed before hand that we we're only meeting to meet, not screw! It takes so much pressure off.
