There are so many things the Bible doesn't tell us, but this doesn't destroy the validity of Christianity.
I wonder about it also, but since we know he was a just man, I think we can rule out the idea of him leaving and having another family. He was around long enough to make brothers and sisters to Jesus(okay,HALF brothers and sisters.)

Beyond the events of Matthew 1and 2, and Luke 1 and 2 (the Christmas stories), Joseph does not appear againi in scriputre. There is a reference to Jesus' brothers and sister - implying that was nothing special abou them. So by inference, there would be nothing special about Jesus. But Joseph himself is not mentioned.

Most likely answer is that Joseph had died prior to the beginning of Jesus' ministry.

Joseph wasn't married to Mary until after the birth
Get you information right.
Mary was entrusted to Joseph's custody and protection.
The bible ??? it is censored by the Vatican and other publishers.
The History Chanel, National Geographic or the Discovery Chanel covered this ,,Joseph and Mary resumed a normal life.
Mary Magdalene became very active and wrote many letters. Called the Gospels of Mary. The Vatican has still not allowed publication.

Must of died.

At one point those opposing Jesus (because of His authority and power) pointed out that His mother, brother and sister were all known and their was nothing special about them. They would have been happy to point out Joseph as another example, especially if he ran away or got re-married.

You're right.
The Bible doesn't say much.
One can presume he died relatively young.
It is highly unlikely he went off to do anything against God's wishes.
He was a faithful man, otherwise why would God have chosen him to be Jesus' earthly father?

He died with Mary at His Side. Jesus was in His late teens if I'm not mistaken.
