I'm not sure but those tea cakes that are called Sally Lunns are still made in Bath--in the same oven they used in the 1700s.

didnt they have mallow in them instead of the cream that tunnochs do? if its them it was burtons, i think tunnochs like to think they are the ONLY teacake though!
