Hi! I felt I should ask again more specifically. Here's the deal: I dyed my own hair dark brown but it came out way too dark, I got it lightened and bleached at the salon, it was orange but they finally got it to a brown/red/orange-y color. It is mostly a very reddish brown. Any suggestions for getting all of the red out and getting it completely brown? Thanks! I very much appreciate all help.

Okay honey what you are seeing is the underlying pigments left from the bleaching. Now when you go back into the salon (I would not suggest doing this at home as where you hair will go back to really dark) tell them to use a nutrual base brown with ash! then the ash will eliminate the redish and orangish tones. You might want to stay in the level 6 range so you don't swing back to a very dark shade considering your hair is very processed now making it more porus (think of a spoung, when dry it soaks up water when moist it will only hold so much)

Yes go to sally,s and get a stripper and strip all color out and then apply the color u want .but if u don,t want red dont use a color that says warm on it warm tones has red pigments in it.but after doing all this u will need a good moisturizing shampoo and an intense moisturizing conditioner or something for very dry and damaged hair.because all this u have already done i would say it is already very dry.

So I am assuming your natural hair is black.Trust me I went through the same phase and had orance spots, then went to fix it at a salon which came out to a beautiful caramel color and then I screwed up again and had blond streaks over carmel. Those were the worst hair days of my life. Sooo...

Here is what I did to fix it..I went to the salon with the ugly color and told them to get it back to a dark choc brown. From there I went and bought Henna for hair (coz at this point my hair was getting super dry and nasty and DID NOT want ANYMORE hair color on it to make it worst!). I in the end ended up going to a local indian store, bought a box of henna (black) which only cost me $3 and applied it. They actualy have Henna for hair (not the hand ones). I let me hair grow out which took 2 years and now I am back to my natural color and I swear its healthy as hell now!
Now my hair is long (under bra line), shiny, natural and no split ends!!!

Good luck with yours and hopefully it works out for you too.

bypass to the keep and get an ASH brown colour in a non everlasting coloration. Use organic tendencies. The ash will keep the pink down. or you'll get some thing noted as colour OOPS. it is going to take various the colour out of your hair. i really does no longer use some thing harsh in the present day because the blond probable really fried your hair. Deep difficulty the daylights out of it in this time. strong success

BY GOSH, let you skin breath for a while. too much bleaching
your skin in different colors in a short span of time is not advisable. there are chemicals contain in the bleach which
can harm your beloved skin. watch out pal, you might regret it

go to a salon and they have color correcting sessions, its expensive a little but really worth it. they will extract all the stuff from your hair and then make it the color you want it to be. its not damaging either.

Buy a wig and stop putting all those chemicals in your hair before it all falls out.
