Why does my Photosmart 8250 at times print with stretched-out images, and then re-entering the job prints OK ?

Images are distorted (stretched out) horizontally. I can re-submit the same job and images will print properly. Settings have been checked repeatedly when this happens, and all seem normal.

I know that you have checked your PRINTER settings!! However, have you checked your PAGE settings??

Take your cartridges out and clean the copper connections on the printer,then take some q-Tips and wet them with Windex and do the same to the copperpin looking strip on the cartridge,then take some paper towels and wet with windex and apply it to the bottomof the cartridge where the ink come out at,apply it for 15 seconds, reinsert your cartridges,alignthem then do a cartridge cleaning,that should be on your menu,you may have todoit several times,it should work after that.
