Its not that all Christians hate Muslims, or that all Muslims hate Christians. Its just that the voices of hate are often the loudest and media gives those voices of hate the most attention. Why? Media is a business, so it focuses on what it considers interesting or to "guide" public opinion, in the West and the Middle East. "Interesting" - violence is more interesting, hate is more interesting. It makes people angry and keeps them watching television, listening to the radio.
Media also focuses on what they think people want to hear. If the Middle East fears western influence and involvement or voices concern over it, because the leaders want to take national focus away from their own "unjust" behavior - its "blame someone else" time. Or if the West is concerned about Middle East influence and activities...and so on. So they feed the concern, the fear, and make their money. Hate sells.

Remember that when you watch the media - sometimes it is very very very far away from reality..they are feeding you what you want to hear, what someone else wants you to hear, and will do anything in their power to keep you watching.

Not that the West's foreign policy is the greatest. It is not. But there is more than hate to be applied to the world, including the West.

And oh, yeah...Have you seen the signs those so-called Muslims are carrying in the CNN documentary called "the war within?" That may have impact on people's opinion. Watch that for further understand about some of the negativity that is generated by the media's focus on hate, and how a small number of Haters can ruin it for everyone

I don't personally know any Muslims and judge each person as an individual not a religion so no hate here.

Muslims think their religion is right and Christians think their religion is right. Therein lies the battle. Let me ask you a question, do you hate Christians?

I don't hate you at all. In fact, though I would be considered a Fundy by many here, I have had many Muslim friends. In fact, I would go so far as to say that some of the kind acts that I remember most were done by Muslim friends of mine when I was sick. But it is my firm conviction that Muslims don't truly understand who Jesus really is.However, that does not make me hate you.

Most Christians do not blame the Moslem religion for the actions of the people who subscribe to it.

Christianity teaches that, as humans, we are fallable. Hence the crucifixion of Jesus as a sacrifice to cleanse us of sins. Therefore, we can make moral misjudgments and still be forgiven by our heavenly Father.

This does not let us off the hook to commit any and all sins that we chose - intent and sincerely are factored into forgiveness. But when you are a fallable human, you can not demand better of others.

Also, the definition of 'Christian' has evolved to include act of kindness and charity - financial and other wise.

I believe Moslems, Jews and Christians are worshipping the same God - the God of Abraham. But in every faith, Man will mold religion to suit and promote his purposes and passions.

Bless you.

I don't know that most do, but about the ones that do, I would guess that they haven't learned that they should love. It's basic in Christianity.

And because of this religious war we're in, (yes it is a religious war) I cannot help but notice that the muslims in this country are strangely silent. It doesn't give me a good feeling .

Muslims and Islam was gotten a "bad name" because of things like 911. Also, it seems to me that most (not all) muslims hate Christians, isn't what this whole war is about . . . . anti-christian?

As a Christian i do no longer hate everyone. I even have at present began to study the Quran and see a number of similarities as properly as adjustments between the two religions. i grow to be raised interior the Christian faith and have been born returned for 26 years and have self assurance the Bible is the understand God. although, i've got not got self assurance with fact that any you are able to instruct that any "holy e book" is the terrific actuality and none human beings have been living on the time any of them have been written so truly we actually do no longer understand what in fact or if there even is a actuality. religious thought is punctiliously according to faith. everyone who declares a spiritual thought should not be judging any faith or atheism for that matter because of the fact truly none human beings is conscious the "actuality".

Tell me something that will give me a reason to love you. All I see about Islam is they cut off peoples heads and fly into buildings. I can logically think that not all Muslims do this, but you people have taken a hard hit from the terrorists. I think that is what the terrorist want to create hatred. I struggle to not be distrustful of Muslims, they scare me.
