Ha. Sounds a LOT like us! We've had things stolen out of our garage, silly string in our trees. Someone peed on our porch, put a dead squierel on our porch. Not to mention that we usually get T.P. (Toilet Papered). Air has been left out of our tires, our mailbox has been filled with trash, dog crap was left on our pool table in the garage.
I know how you feel. And the police? Haha. NOTHING. Pretty much offered us a restraining order against a bunch of kids and umm? They told us that was a JOKE! Ha.
In YOUR situation, they should've DEFINITLY done something! That's personal property! They can't fingerprint stuff? Jeez.

They say the young people today are a spoilt generation and in some respects they are, technology is advancing daily and no doubt people have become lazier but where does this leave the youth? They have no where to go apart from the streets of which they live. They express themselves differently, it's frustration mixed with immaturity; the devil makes work for idol thumbs. Like 2Pac said "They say there's no hope for the youth, when the truth is there's no hope for the future" (Keep Ya Head Up). Give a child responsibility and see what happens, flip side to that coin shout at a child and see what happens. In the end we are responsible for our children. So we must take responsibility for there actions.

That's just it, it's "mindless", vandals don't think about what they are doing to someone, they just have too much time, nothing to do and obviously, no guidance in their lives. Parents don't take much responsibility for their kids anymore, they "give up" let the kids run wild, those kids grow up to be adults and the only thing that will change, is the type of vandalism they do.

Its especially situations the case that oldsters of those youths are somewhat good human beings and do their terrific. Its ok asserting its each and all of the mum and dad fault yet that's no longer consistently the case . some young babies are thoroughly diverse of their own living house among their own family members. Its whilst they hit the streets with their friends that the subject starts. i think of a few thing could desire to be completed by skill of the government first because of the fact its them who desperate mom and dad won't be able to smack their young babies or self-discipline them; its them who comes to a decision whats breaking the regulation , whats anti-social behaviour. Its them who consistently discover different scape goats to apply whilst some thing they determine cocks up. With youths its been the mum and dad fault, the families fault, the colleges fault , the social amenities have been in charge , the police , no longer adequate young ones golf equipment , then the mum and dad fault returned.

i really feel for you. i don't know why...im from london, and the majority of kids are little s**ts that vandalise and abuse all that comes in their way. most ppl say it's because they have nothing to do, but that's not true! come on! in london! i can understand in small towns but not in cities.there is plenty for them to do, and if they are bored at 13/14, is simply because they are not meant to be on the streets at one in the morning or later, bullying ppl to buy them alcohol and fags, since no place will let them in to get absolutely f**ked. i wonder with this neew generation were are we going to end up...

They are probably angry about something else and this gives them a way to vent that anger.
One can only hope that they do get caught. In addition to having to pay to restore your property, they can also be FORCED into getting help......
SOrry this happened to you, but I am sure that it was nothing personally against you it was probably a crime of opportunity

I am very sorry it happened to you. You said it correctly, "mindless."
I hope the gits brag enough to be caught and punished.
That sort of criminal act is without rhyme or reason.

I am sorry for your problem and I don't hope they got a thrill from it. It is the demon drink that persuades people to act like this. I have never heard of a good answer to this problem. Perhaps there will be one here
