Are my complete opposite personality wise?I am very shy and only really come out of my shell when in a small group or with friends.Yet i attract very outgoing guys some of whom have the bad boy smart a*ss mouth thing going on.My friend thinks its natures way of balancing things out and i should just role with it because if i date someone else with my personality i will not be able to grow personality wise?Is this true?

Not true, change comes from within.

Your friend is right and wrong at the same time(short sightedness or perhaps inexperience more likely). You attract guys like them because they think it will be easier with a shy chick ,they are often intimidated by outgoing females. You can grow and expand your personality through your friends and family as well as friends of friends and family too.You meet people if you want to or not (not even your choose really just fate)."If you are happy and well with you and the way you are ,stay that way".personalities can change in a bad way as well.

All women attract those big mouth arrogant jerks. They aren't afraid of/don't care about rejection and hence just try with everyone.

Nice guys are a little bit more work. If you make no efforts of your own, you'll probably be stuck with the big mouth.

If you were both really shy, how would you meet in the first place? Actually communicate? Have a relationship?
