would like to find a free stich and glue type kayak or canoe plan to build at home using manine plywood.would even have to be sea worthy because once finished and tested replicas would be built and be donated to a local scouts group!

In life, you generally get what you pay for. If you want a good quality plan, you should expect to pay for it. Maybe you can talk a designer into donating a set of plans if you buy a set, or give you a group discount if you buy say 5 sets, but otherwise you'll probably end up having to buy them at full value.

The boat plans I've looked at all specified that buying the plans gave the buyer the right to build 1 boat from them. Building more than one boat violated that agreement. I've been a scouter long enough to know that the national org. in Texas would frown upon you violating that agreement in the name of Scouting.

I have to ask the same Q as Lucky, where is this hair coming from? Im not too fond of leg or back hair now. Head hair? That thing would be encased and then kept fresh inside my helmet. Glue would just ruin the stuff. Then again, i could just cut some more off at night. Heh heh heh.
