It's probably that your hormones are still getting lined out. Are you breastfeeding? If not, then I would take a pregnancy test to rule out pregnancy then start on some form of birth control to regulate yourself.

Good Luck and Congrats on the baby!!! ;)

It can take a year for a woman to go back to normal after having a baby. I would check with your doctor if you have any concerns. It doesn't sound so bad to me. After each of my children my period changed. And occassionally now it still changes sometimes and my last "baby" is 11!! Congrats on the baby!!

after i had my daughter my period was never the same. it never regulated so that's why 19 months later i'm expecting another baby. i wouldn't worry so much about the lightness or heaviness. it could've been light because you were just starting to get your period and then you laid down all night so the flow changed. check it out today and then consult your doctor if your still uncomfortable.

Sometimes after having a baby, it can help your periods get lighter! Some make make them heavier! It made mine get lighter and I ov and start like a clock!!!!!!!!!! I do not beleive you should worry!!!!!! Be glad it is light!!!!!!!! And, it may get heavier today or tomorrow!!!! I'd only worry if I thought I was pregnant and then I'd test!!!! Some have a slight period when first pregnant! My cousin did!!! I never have, but everyone is different!!!!!!!

i would say that's pretty normal. i had that happen to me after my second child. i think it has to do with your hormones still being all wacky. for me it took about a year for my periods to become normal again and just when my cycles got back on track i got pregnant again. i remember that my cycle would go from a 31 day cycle to 27 days the next cycle and one period would be extremely heavy and the next really light.

mine is never on teh same date. a cycle is 28 days so that makes the date change each month if you think about it. it can take 2 years for you to get back to normal with your cycle. try not to worry about it too much.
