Since your hair is thick and nice before, and it started having problem, shave it for some time countinuely and after 3 months let it to grow and always give it a nice treatment and go to saloon always for washing.
I bet you in 8months you hair will grow back to the same density that you have before and it will grow to shoulder lenght, but you have to chenge every cream you are using for the hair before to another new one, i mean the hair shampoo, hair cearm, hair conditioner, hair treatment, hair relaxer if you have been using hair relaxer for your hair and every other things that hair need. Give it a try, I you promise you, you will smile again when you look at your hair.

If you really want to shave your head...most people's hair grow 1/4 of in inch in a month. If your hair grows fast it could grow 1/2 an inch a month. So it would take it a year or more to be shoulder length. I suggest just cutiing it shorter than it already is and maybe it will be easier to work with.

I shaved my hair off

My hair grew back no problem, exactly the same it was before i shaved it away

It's a pain though growing it back
It sticks up when you get to a certain length and expect to be going to a hairdresser at least once a month so your hair looks ok on your head
Also when the hair grows back the dandruff will be back

Maybe see a dermatologist to look at your scalp and see a reason you are loosing hair and that your scalp is oily

If your scalp is that bad, I'd see a dermatologist before you cut it all off. You might just have to change shampoos.

Hair grows on average about 1/2 inch per month, so depending on how long it is from the top of your head to your shoulder, it might take 18 months to 2 years to grow it out all the way.

Shaving it will in no way change the texture of your hair the only times I have seeb texture changes is from chemo. Hair grows at a rate of 1/2 to 1 inch per month .

Have you asked a doctor whether the head shave will help the dandruff? A bald head with greasy dandruff wont be a pretty sight. Find a good dermatologist & stay away from shavers.

I hope you are wanting to shave your hair off and not your head like you said!! Everyones hair is different and grows at different rates.... I would guess 1-2 years to get back to shoulder length.

Hair loss affects both men and women. Here are some natural remedies that can help boost hair growth: https://bitly.im/aL9xf While genetics plays a role, there are other factors, including: hormonal imbalances, an underactive thyroid gland, nutrient deficiencies and insufficient scalp circulation.
