Theres a guy I didnt get into a relationship awhile ago because I had trust issues. (Not with him, just with guys in general.) Now I feel like I made the mistake of my life. I learned through a friend hes dating someone. Question, fight for what I want or leave it to fate and if we're meant to be it will happen?

Just start talking to him again. Catch up on your friendship. He will make the decision if he wants to be with you or not.

Sometimes fate doesn't happen on it's own. It is presented to us and then it's up to us to take the right path. Unfortunately u had your chance with this one and now he is with someone else. Fate will play a role if he becomes available to u again. Now is not the right time, but if he ends up not with her in the future and u still feel u made a mistake, then yes go for it. If it is truly meant to be then it won't work out with this new person in his life, but just make sure that u are not part of the reason why it didn't work out for them. Good luck

What is fate???
If you are hungry and sitting near a retaurant do you just sit there and hope someone will bring some food to you.
Fate should not be in the dictionary.
We do have control of our live most of the time.
It seems you are not sure you want or not.

Don't try to break him and his new girlfriend up, because he may end up thinking you're a real jerk or holding it against you. You should casually mention to him sometime that you had wanted to ask him out for awhile, but when you finally worked up enough nerve you found out that he'd already started seeing someone else. If he's not really that into her, he'll stop seeing her and start seeing you, or if they break up he may give you a call, since he'll already know that you're interested.
