Use a little common sense, do you think "Darkwater" sums up abandoned buildings? However there is a modicum of truth to it but you need to understand where it comes from. There is allot of stress that builds in a combat zone. You blow it off in any fashion you can, but also understand its a bunch of 18 year old put into a very stress full situation, you essentially go from kid to adult is a matter of months.
And its Marine Corps and senseless.

Since when has anything out of Hollyweird been anywhere close to reality. I think that is the problem with people today. They are so engrossed in that giant screen idiot box in front of them, they now think it is real life. Sad and pitiful if you ask me. In answer to your question, NO the film did not sum up the Marine Corp. Oh and learn to spell.

Do you mean the core of the marines or the Marine Corps?

No, that's purely Hollywood's impression of the military. However, your question apparently sums up your knowledge of the Corps; it's a Corps, not core. And I believe you meant to call them senseless, not sencless.

If you really want to find out, try joining. Let's see if you can hang with them. I am willing to bet no.

And, ask all the kids who receive gifts from the Marine's Toys for Tots program if they think they are senseless @ssholes. I would bet they would disagree as well.

pretty much cant pidgeon hole people though there are many good soldiers more than bad , shame they dont realsie they are seen by the global elite the people there really fighting for as cattle and cannon foder , alot of brave soldiers out there but if they knew the truth they would nerver have joined and if they do know the truth they would be the oposite to brave.
