The best sweets for you to consume are natural that you get from fruits. Fruits contain fiber which help with weight loss as well as having important minerals and vitamins. there's such a wide variety of fruits available it should satisfy your sweet tooth. I also find that using chromium supplement three times daily takes away the desire for sugar.

Stay as far away from ALL of the above, if you really want to shed some pounds. However, I would adivse you, that if you want to make a lifestyle change for the long haul, allow yourself a treat every now and then so that you don't binge on sweets in the end. But keep everything in moderation. Eat one cookie instead of the whole cookie jar full. If you know that something is a "trigger food" for you that you won't be able to stop eating once you start, steer clear of it altogether.
Good luck! =)

When it comes to weight, sugar is sugar.
You should cut out all the sugars you can except the sugar in fruit. Even than, you do have to watch your sugar content if you are putting down loads of fruit. This much fruit is great to maintain, but until you are happy with your weight, you need to watch your sugar intake - period.
Whether sugar is natural or more refined is irrelevant when it comes to weight loss. To provide a brief explanation, it is really this simple, if you aren't burning it, it will be stored in your body as fat.
Fruit (berries and citrus are the healthiest) is still necessary because it provides lots of fibre and nutirents. Also, your brain needs some sugar to function properly, so you shouldn't be drastic and cut out fruit. That is a mistake that lots of people make.
Another benefit of fruit is that the fibre keeps your digestive system, including your intestinal tract, healthy. Because nutrients are absorbed through here, the healthier it is the more nutrients will be absorbed properly. Lack of any vitamins or nutrients through food can leave you craving junk, so eat your fruit!
I don't believe you need anymore sugar. If you really want sugar in your tea, have it. It won't wipe out all your hard work because you have it. One tsp. of sugar has 16 calories (that means leveled and measured spoons). People go a bit crazy over eliminating all their sugars. If you add 16 calories or even 32 to your day because that is how you like your tea that isn't the end of the world. Just don't go drinking tea all day. And remember, in your body, when it comes to weight issues, any form of sugar turns into fat, regardless of whether it is brown or sugar cane or white. Honey is pretty much the same but has nutrients. You are always better off going natural because it is healthier for your body even if it is the same number of calories.
Make sure you are eating healthy over all, watch your calories, exercise regularly and you shouldn't have anything to worry about. Keeping a journal helps when you're starting.
Drink lots of water and remember the golden rule, burn more than you put in. Do not use any artificial sweetener!
One more thing, best time to eat sugar, if you are going to, is right after a workout.

I've tried many diets and couldn't make anything work. Since having my first child, I've been carrying around an extra 30 pounds. This diet just made sense and showed me that everything I was doing before was wrong and a waste of my time.
The plan was so refreshing and so simple to follow. I did everything plan said and lost 23 pounds in the first three weeks. I'm now starting the diet again to lose 7 more pounds. This plan has changed my life.
Get started today!

Take The Stairs Taking the stairs instead of the elevator every day can help you burn some extra calories. It may not seem like a lot but it adds up. Over a period of a year, taking the stairs can burn off an extra five lbs. of fat.

Stay away from ALL sweets. Try using substitutes. Like, instead of sugar, use Splenda. It's artificial and asss the sweet taste without all the fats from sugar. And eat lots of fruits and veggies and yogurt. That'll do the trick.0_0

The trick is to try not to use white sugar as much as possible. Use honey for tea instead of sugar. For sweets, try to find sweet snacks that are more naturally sweet, like dyhydrated fruits and nuts. Natural jams and jellys. Stay clear of corn syrup too. Dark chocolate instead of milk chocolate is also a wise choice.

I would stay away from all sweets. There are natural alternatives for sweetening your tea. You can use honey, date sugar, and stevia to name a few. I prefer honey in my tea. Refined sugar isn't good for anybody even the people who aren't trying to lose weight.

Sugar is horrible for anyone, esp. those trying to lose weight. Use Sweet n Low or Splenda packets instead.
