Last night I had a dream involving a Nerf gun, 15 friends from high school, the skate park, a Lamborghini that had rust design for the paint job, and the Oompah Loompahs.
The purpose was to survive for an entire month inside of trhis one-square-mile house that was 3 stories tall with a water fountain in each room containing a high concentration of hydrochoric acid or tri-orthocresylphosphate (hydraulic fluid).

Without the power lines reference this would have been a good question. I have a flying dream. Started having it after I read a book by Carlos Casteneda where he ate mushrooms and turned into a crow.

I used to have a similar recurring dream when I was about 20 years old. I'd be sort of skateboarding without a skateboard, zipping along familiar roads a couple of feet off the ground. Then I'd try to speed up or gain altitude, and I'd wake up every time, mildly frustrated that it wasn't a reality. No encounters with power lines in my dreams, however.

I was told by a prophet and another priest that if a person dreams of flying or drinking red juice (the juice symbolyses blood) and some other foods, or if you dream having sex with a person more than once then the Devil is trying to work with you, to make you his 'servant' and before you know it you're worshiping him. And I am serious. Go to a priest and let him pray for you before the Devil snatches your soul away from you.

You are not dopey, you are describing a dream, and that dream is shared by many people. Remember that dreams are symbols of your unconcious trying to tell you something. Remember that how you are in control of the dream means how you are in control of your life :)

I have dreamt of flying too. I think this is a fairly common dream. I never see any power lines in my dreams, though.
I am curious why you posted this question in the Religion & Spirituality area, though.

Nope. I love dreams like that. Did you know you can improve your flying dream quality if you run and look at the ground at the same time like you did when you were a kid
