Eat small adequite healthy meals and keep excercising, you will see results as long as you dont cheat yourself...It may take time though. Also make sure to get your heartrate into the target zone for 20 minutes a day 3 times a week. Weight loss pills generally dont work. Notice how they say diet and excercise are needed with them? Because when you do lose the weight then you will think its the pills and not the excercise....

The bad news: Dieting is a lifelong pursuit. Six weeks is not nearly enough. Actually 'dieting' is the wrong way to think about it alltogether. You should concentrate on developing good exercise and diet habits that will last you a lifetime.

The good news: Its not nearly as bad as it seems. If you can learn to make exercise part of your daily routine, then it will become natural and normal. And better still you will learn to want it because it helps you in so many ways other than just making you look good.

Creating good diet habits is not nearly as difficult as it seems. It takes a little discipline to start, mostly avoiding 'diet' products and ignoring all the evil advertising out there. Just SLOWLY substitute healthier foods into your diet: whole grains, lots of fresh fruit and veg etc.

Again its all about your routine. You can eat anything you want once in a while, but its what you eat on an 'average' day that matters. Also your body adjusts to your diet and you can actually start to 'like' healthier foods, even crave them.

Proper diet and exercise will improve your whole life in other unexpected ways too such as more energy and less depression and, oh yeah, you will look better too.

I'm 43 and I weigh less than I did when I was 16.

I'm sure you are ready to see results but give it some more time. You said it took you 6 months to gain the weight, so you really can't expect it to go away in 6 weeks.

Keep doing what you are doing and also try to get plenty of water. You might also try a light detox diet.
