The reason it is "safer" to eat red meat less cooked than poultry or pork is the nature of the bacteria or parasites that cause food poisoning. In poultry and pork, these parasites and bacteria are found dispersed throughout the meat, where as with whole cuts of red meat, bacteria is only found on the outside surfaces. When you cook a steak the outside will quickly reach temperatures that will kill the bacteria, leaving the steak presumably safe to eat, assuming that only clean utensils are used to remove it from the grill.
Pork and poultry also would be safe in the same manner except that they generally have parasites inside the meat that can still be harmful, therefore they must be cooked thoroughly to prevent possible illness.
Raw fish can still contain parasytes much like poultry or pork, however since fish used for sushi is generally prepared from start to finish by the same person, it is possible to ensure near complete use of clean utensils and proper temperature control to prevent the contamination of the meat with bacteria. Ground meat of any kind must be cooked thoroughly since surface bacteria is mixed into all parts of the meat and will not be killed by searing.
The reason I said "safer" above is that it is by no means safe to eat raw or undercooked meat of any kind, only safer for certain kinds than other.

because raw pork and chicken contain a type of bacteria that can cause salmonella, a toxin, which can make you very ill. Red meat and fish can to, but at a lesser rate than pork or chicken. Raw fish or beef must be VERY fresh to be eaten raw. Personally, since I read PETA website, I dont eat any meat

It's not safe to eat raw fish or red meat. Both of those can contain bacteria and other microbes that cause disease.
Sushi is usually treated to kill the microbes. Meat is always considered safer if well cooked to reach a certain temperature. At which point if would be considered "well done"

No, you shouldn't eat raw meat even if you are not pregnant. Meat, or any food, really, that is not fully cooked can have all sorts of bacteria in it, and it can make you really, really sick. It's not good for your baby, either, especially in the first couple months of pregnancy. I would stop eating the raw meat, for both your sake and your baby's sake, too. It's not safe to eat any kind of raw meat!
