If there is definitely no proxy server blocking those programs, then you probably have a virus or spyware that is blocking it. Scan your computer with Spybot and AVG to verify.

Also, many freeware P2P programs will stop working if you have removed the spyware that comes bundled with them. It's the price you have to pay to steal music. Load the spyware on your computer so that the P2P programs will work.

Using P2P sharing is dangerous. Too many viruses and spyware for my liking. Personally I prefer torrents. They are much safer and are faster. Torrent clients such as Azurous and uTorrent are both very good. Then you can search through various sites to find trackers to download the information from.

You could try Roxio, but i have always had better luck with Nero.

If you are trying to use these programs from a school or office, which is what I expect, then they probably caught on to what you were doing and blocked those systems. Go do your homework.

If this is your own personal setup, then I would think that something is wrong with your net connection. Completely reset your connection (reboot your computer, unplug/replug all modems/routers/etc...)

Firewall settings on ur computer may have changed since last week. Dont know how computer savy u are but u can try a restore. Restore ur comp before this issue started. And for dvd burning try dvdxcopy.
