Sorry, put that's not really the best thing to do. Watch it like a hawk, every 20 minutes (10 if playing) remember to TAKE HER OUT. When you go to the back door, knock on it, jingle the knob, make an emphasis that that is how you get out. Do this every time, and your dog will eventually sit by the door and whine when she has to go out.

Putting her face in it and spanking her is all wrong. Is the kennel to big? A kennel or crate should only be big enough for the dog to stand, turn and lie down in. Are you taking her out often are just leaving her all day? These things take time, it's not instant.

Well when u take her outside in the yard.... and she poops make sure u have a treat for her... make sure its not the hard boring kind...... give her the beggin bacon strips...... or somthin good so then she will learn that way or put a bell by the door so she can reach it then everytime you take her out make sure you make her paw ring the bell...so then when she has to go she will ring the bell!!!

My dog was doing the same thing and i got this advice from my vet. When your dogs poos in the house take him to it and tell him no. but do not yell or rub his nose in it. Pick it up with papertowel and take it outside show him again let him sniff it and praise him but no treats, when you take him outside and he poos out there praise him and give him a treat. Took me about a week. good luck.

#1...make sure you feed her at regular times (don't leave the food out all day)...and #2 take her outside pretty-much immediately after she is done eating until she poops...#3 praise and reward her with a treat that's in your pocket or hand...Good luck!

Please stop hitting your dog. Putting her face in her mistakes teaches the dog that you are crazy. You are trying to punish her for something that is your fault, for not watching her closely. Here's a great website for learning how to crate train:

In addition to the first answer, when you put pooch out to potty, go with her. When you see that she is doing her job, praise her WHILE she is going. This helps her to understand what she is being praised for.
