Well I don't know about in season, but apples are great winter fruit and strawberries, grapes and oranges are always availabe. Yeah, the stores selection may not look great, but check a few stores each week and you will find plenty of frest fruit.

Apples, oranges , pears and bananas are around most times, you can also use dried raisins, currants, and apricots.
