Not all Muslims are complaining about the restrictions in the Quran, so why are the West creating animosity by being bias towards those who choose to follow the Quran. Just because you can't control your lust, doesn't make it right in the sight of the Creator. Look at how they treat women, just like exhibits in in a meat shop. Modesty is a sin in the West, no ?

Jesus will not be a God, but the Christians don't believe that. They choose a kind and nice religion so they can fornicate, drink and be merry till the day of death and then seek out Jesus to save their pathetic souls at the ressurection by calling him God, and Jesus says to these blasphemous tongues to get away from him for they have blaspheme against the true GOD by calling him one. There is ample time to rectify that, open your heart and mind to correct the lies that have been fed to you. Peace to you.

GOD forbids it, definitely not! I only ask of GOD. The phrase ‘Ya ayyuhannas’ is found throughout the Quran, Allah talks about His oneness, His creation of the world and only He is worthy of worship ---an important message to humanity.

The message of Islam is global and universal. The age of globalisation presents a golden opportunity for Muslims to use the same system to tell the rest of the world our own values, rather than be passive and wait for values to invade us.

We owe it to humanity as Muslims to try and make effort to show them –the WEST the glimpse of happiness we live as Muslims because definitely the Quran says there is no greater nikmah or bounty than believing in Allah. The world is waiting for salvation – with its ailments, epidemics, social decay etc, the values of Islam are the best remedy and everyone has a role in spreading the word of Islam and explaining the Quranic message to the entire humanity.

No and christians should not have to become politically correct to get along either. what the West does not comprehend is that in Islam, the Law is their religion. In america, the Constituion is a secular document that took points from all three major religions to make the Laws separate from any one controlling religious body. Nor can it be controlled by any government if they are not advocating violence or harm to others. At the same time you cannot be discriminated against because of your religious beliefs or fired from employment because you have religious convictions or ar reading your Torah, Qu'ran or Bible.

A similar restriction is running throuh Congress that is very much like the one in the EC and Canada called HR 2 254 that will severly limit religious speech, just like Islam. It will criminalize ministers that give politically incorrect sermons, cause them to be taxed or cchurches closed. The Bill is being sponsored by Rep Sheila Jackson-Lee a democrat from Texas and is going for vote this week. Hope this answer helps.

Because Christianity teaches the turning of the other cheek. Christians aren't encouraged to retaliate violently, whereas Muslims are taught that it is sinful to NOT execute someone who bashes their religion. When Roland Emmerich directed the disaster film "2012" he included a scene that depicted the destruction of the Vatican and Sistine Chapel in Rome, and the Christ the Redeemer Statue in Brazil. When asked why he was unfair (destroying Christian monuments and not Islamic ones), he responded "I would've, honestly I wanted to [depict the destruction of Mecca and the Kaaba], but we can't do that. We'll have a Fatwa against us." So, people pick on Christians because they know they will not retaliate. When "South Park" creators bashed the Virgin Mary, the Catholic Church spoke out against the episode. When they insulted Muhammad (by portraying him as a bear with pedophiliac tendencies) a bomb threat was delivered to Comedy Central headquarters. Jesus Himself knew the world would be like this. That's why He said "Don't worry if the world hates you. Know that it has hated Me before it hated you." All we can do is pray, stay close to God, and vote the right way. People in office don't belong there if they support the insults against Christianity but not Islam!

Muslims should not give up their religion on account of it being unacceptable to the West. They should give up their religion because it is a useless religion that will get them no where. Sorry if this sounds offensive but what I say is true. There is only One who offers you salvation and that is the Lord Jesus Christ. Accept Him or reject Him, but if you want an afterlife you had better open your heart to Him now and trust in His finished work on the Cross.

No, I do not believe Muslims should give up their religious beliefs, nor do I believe they should stay "in their country of origin." If that was the case, Christians should get their butts back to the Middle East too and leave America to the Native Americans.

Religion is a faith-based series of laws that governs a person's daily life. Whether it comes from God/Allah/Buddha/The Great Giant Spaghetti Monster, it's a grouping of morals, values and teachings that should guide our lives. Each religion has it's own sacred guide book that contains these rules. Here's where it gets sticky. These books have all been translated by Man. Even the Quran has been re-written from it's original source to be more readily available to the inhabitants of this planet...not all of us read the ancient languages after all. Man has put his own thoughts or spin on the translations of these holy books. While these differences may be subtle, they are, in fact, different than the original script. Maybe the concept no longer exists, or the original word was wiped away from the stone it was carved into. Maybe the writer just didn't like the way it was worded or it contained a concept that the writer didn't believe was right. We see this in the way people preach, too. Two ministers/priests/imans/holy men can be standing on different corners in different churches preaching for the same book, same chapter, same verse and come up with two different meanings of the word. Does that make one wrong and the other right? Each is right in his own eyes.

Keep your faith...keep your beliefs...please don't be upset if everyone else doesn't believe the same thing you do and don't get upset if they try to convert you to their way of thinking. Simply say "Thank you very much but I am on my own path of salvation."

No, people have the right to believe in what they wish. If everybody practised their religion as it is meant to be practised then strangely enough there would be:
No murders
No adultery
No theft
No jealousy
No poor who cannot be fed and starve
No homeless
Sounds like a pretty good world doesn't it?
Shame that we profess to believe in something and can't practise what we preach.
To quote a well known Irish comic of the 70's and 80's
Goodnight and may your God go with you.

No way, I may not agree with Islam but they should not have to surrender their faith because of someone else's prejudice. I would not give up my Christianity because Muslims do not agree with my faith, so why should Muslims be held to a different standard?

With regards to the "lust" and "modesty" issues, didn't God/Allah create sexual desire, and an appreciation of female beauty? I could make the totally absurd statement that Muslim women are commanded to wear the Hijab because Allah knew Muslim males were too weak to resist temptation. What a load of rubbish.

Western standards of modesty are different from Islamic standards, we generally do not feel that we should dictate what women should wear, although most frown on public nudity.

Respect and tolerance are a two-way street. If everyone agreed to respect differences, rather than condemn them, then wouldn't the world be a better place for everyone?

I say why should the muslims alter their religion to suit us? Everyone is entitled to their own opinion and choice of religion. I certainly wouldn't change my releigion because it doesn't fit in with what their beliefs are, but should I go to their countries, I would respect their beliefs, culture and laws.

As a Christian myself, I choose to believe in God as the creator of everything, and I endeavour to do what his son recommended. I also believe should I sin (by going against the principles stated in the Bible - such as stealing, lying, committing adultery etc), then I deserve whatever judgement is passed on to me.

Here's a question, just who in the world is the West to tell the rest of the world what it can and can not believe? If it doesn't like it, fine, butt out. Don't start needless wars based on lies to force your beliefs on others.
