No, you won't even know when it happens. Just eat normally. Kids swallow coins all the time and they come out. You would be amazed at what people swallow. If the coin passes down your esophagus into your stomach, it will go on out.

you need to take liquid parafin or mild laxative to enable the coin to pass easily. it will not be painful unless you have a painful anal condition like piles.

Go immediately to the ED...it may not come out and may lodge in your intestines. Not something to fool around with.
