I am not sure it is "good for dogs" but I know it is "bad for fleas".
If you give your dog some garlic to eat with its normal diet, it reduces the "attractiveness" of the dog for fleas. We don't smell the difference on the dog but the fleas sure do.

I don't believe it is good for dogs, but they do like the taste. For example, if you want to "brush" your dog's teeth, many dog pastes are garlic flavored so that your pet will enjoy the cleaning.

I give my pet one a day to keep the fleas at bay.Vets say they are bad she has been on them for 7 years & is okay.She is allergic to Glutton it makes her itch like crazy.Thankfully it is under control.

NO. In fact it is bad for them especially raw. Onions are also not good for dogs and cats.
