So you do want to move then, you just don't want to make the decision yourself, you'd rather someone come along and take you away.
I'm sure if you did make the decision yourself and were fully committed to making your change work, you would be able to find somewhere really nice to live, a great job and be able to keep in touch with your friends and family.
I once decided to move from my 'hometown' to another place where I didn't know anybody. I've never regretted the move and feel like I've grown a bit more as a person by doing so.
I hope whatever you decide to do works out for you.
Good luck!

Ultimately, you have to do what's going to make YOU happy. On one token, you have a great job and place to live, etc. where you are now- but you obviously feel like you're missing a big part of your life. On the other side, you're only 22, you have plenty of time to find "mr. right". Go where you need to be happy in all facets of your life, don't just move somewhere in hopes of finding the right guy. He'll come to you as soon as you stop looking- it always works that way! For now, sit back and enjoy the myriad of other good things around you- things will fall into place, I promise!

i have moved 15 times (due to my parents) before settling down to where i live now. i have lived here for 15 years, and i have never felt more like a stranger, even after all this time. i feel like a visitor from another planet. one or two of the places i have lived have made me feel the same way as you do about falmouth. so i know i am not imagining things. i am used to it, and now that i have found someone to love (not from this area, lol), i dont really care anymore. she wants to come and live with me which is fine. apparently she hates where she lives even more than i do, lol! one of many things we have in common. anyway, i know it isnt any consolation, but its not in your imagination that you feel out of place, it can happen! :-S

I feel this way lots of times, but I don't let it bother me or stop me from finding my way to a great time. You wanna give up everything that's right in your life to try to meet a guy? That's the worst thing you could do to yourself. Just stay where you are and try to find a guy there. This way, if things don't work out (as they usually don't) you still have all the good things left.

I only feel that way at work. I am currently job hunting.
I sometimes feel like I was born into the wrong family because I have very different life philosophies than most of them.

If you want to meet a man, get out of the house! Go out and after work and socialize. Network through your friends and family. There are lots of guys in the world. Sadly they won't be knocking on your door and ask if you are available.

take a holiday. you're just looking for adventure. you're in your early 20's so you have loads of time. ask for time off work and spend about a month travelling if thats possible.
you also have to think that maybe the job you have isnt right for you. you might enjoy doing somthing more exciting. just think it over and discuss with yourself what it is you actually want from life.

Yes i am in wrong place, wrong time, wrong everything but there are nothing to do about it unless i have to do something about it. Now you have to think about it, you seem that you love to travel, so why dont you keep working and save up then spend these for travel so you can keep enjoyin your life.
