If a new bicycle is all that is required, you can get one from the devil and it will be cheap. But you will pay for it forever. Because the devil keeps you pedaling all through life, attaching all sorts of requirements to you for having struck a bargain with him. In fact no one can pay that debt on their own.
On the other hand, if you want a new bicycle and no monetary debt, you'll have to go to work and earn it. You don't need to pray, you need to get a copy of the Want Ads and work for it. You could be working for Walmart now. They have great bikes, too.
I know because I bought one for the Salvation Army one year.
But that brings us to the third way to obtain a bicycle. To give to a poor child who doesn't have one. That does take prayer, because in order to do that, you have to have the gift of charity.
And because God is so generous, He'll give you that gift easily.
But to keep it, you have to sacrifice for it. And only love will let you do that. So see you do have a dilemma with God- whether you will love Him or not.
But He says knock and the door will be opened to you. Seek Me and you shall find me. Ask and you shall receive. But we are taught to call the Lord Father and to love Him as the Father of all mankind. He says to ask for forgiveness and to be willing to forgive others. To ask for your daily needs, and to be delivered from evil (he will pay your debt) and free you from temptation. So that we can become and remain forever the sons and daughters of God.
So as the two wills pull together, you have a cycle that leads to everlasting life. The bi-cycle is free, but the gift has to be freely sought and cherished for life.

Like a lot of people have pointed out, God isn't going to give you a bicycle if you pray for it. But the same people will also tell you that God is all-forgiving. So it would be easiest to steal the bicycle and pray for forgiveness.

If you pray and wait, expect a long delay.
How about getting an extra job, saving and then buying the bicycle you want ?

Good question. You can also pray for him to get you a job so you can buy the bicycle. If it was me, I'd just ask my wife to pay for it.

I would suggest you pray to God to help you get a job delivering newspapers or some similar job, then you could buy your bicycle.
Don't steal, it's not honest and you will live to regret it.

Stealing is Baaaaaaaaad !.
But if its a comparison between doing an action to a piece of fiction (praying) and doing an action to a piece of reality (stealing), then the logical/informed choice would have to be theft. (And forget this praying stuff - thats for the gullible)
