You need an allergy specialist. You also will not only get a new regimen, but probably go through immunotherapy.

Since your lungs and breathing are reating as well, you should be evaluated for asthma or reactive airways.

Part of the treatment plan will involve identifying your triggers - and removing as many of them as possible.

Since it affects your airways, it will be important to change your home's airfilters every two weeks (use the less expensive kind and change them frequently.) use a vacumn with a hepa filtration and canister that can be cleaned each time.

Remove plants from inside your home. Keep pets out as well.

Try to get rid of carpeting, or shampoo monthly with a special cleaner that kills dustmites.

Wash ALL bedding, including pillows weekly - Keep matresses and pillows in protective allergy covers. Be sure to use hot water and a hot dryer to remove and kill all allergens.

Be aware that if you move you will have to have your immunity therapy changed to meet your allergy needs in a new area.

Hang in there - you can be helped. Sometimes a nasal spray and allegra are just not enough. You have to use a combination of therapies, along with a regimen to avoid and prevent exposure.

Go back to doctor. First of all you have to tell them the remedies didn't work. And maybe in the meantime you developed asthma, so you should really go to see a doctor. Good one!

Have you told your dr that the allegra didn't work? If not, start there. Your dr can't prescribe something stronger if he doesn't know that the allegra didn't work.
