Im going to buy a new car very soon. ive got a choice between a honda accord or a mazda 6.... which one would you get?

NEITHER......they are both PIECES..........all of you guys are PROGRAMMED. There are MUCH better cars out there for CHEAPER. Accord is HIGH to maintain with chronic a/c problems, bad cv joint design, timing belts that have to be changed. Mazdas have transmission issues and head problems. NOT TO MENTION that these little tin boxes are rattly and uncomfortable. TRUST ME, I have been in the car business for YEARS. There are MUCH better choices.

lol.. all these people saying neither and to buy american. DO you know where Hondas are made?? My uncle makes them in Ohio. Thats Ohio, America.... Personally, I like the Mazda 6 even though its made overseas and is Owned by ford ( I HATE FORD). But, I would broaden my horizon and look at the Chevy Malibu, or the Toyota camry, or even the Pontiac G6 before i buy anything. Drive as many cars as you can before you decide!!!

if it was me i would get a honda. now they both are imports which are very good. but honda is the better one b/c they last longer, fewer maintenance, and just all together are better. ya a mazda might look better on the outside but statistics and research says that honda is the better and most reliable one. you will get more outta a honda than a mazda. trust me i had one when i was younger and it was great!

Sorry some one is holding a gun at your head, you don`t have a lot of choice. Honda is noted for a better resale value, go with it.
I would not get either to answer the second part of your question.

Can I first ask why you chose those two? Are they the only cars you can find or do you just like them?
Both cars are nice. I think I would take the Honda..but it would have to be a v6

i would choose an accord...thats what i had before i bought a the new lexus IS 250......honestly i would shop around at used luxury car dealership....u can sometimes get some good deals... but i would never buy a mazda!!! Do some research using car and driver ..etc

It all depends on your order or priorities.
Here is mine:
1. Dependability
2. Resale value
3. Ride quality/handling
4. Convenience
No matter how you look at it, Accord beats everything else hands down on all four, and - unless you have other considerations I can't think of - go with Accord.

the Honda would be my choice. It may be a little more expensive, but I have had two Hondas - one had over 235,000 miles on it when I sold it, and the other had about 185,000 miles (and it is still going for sure). Good cars.
