i mean is there any alternate way to buying one ... building a circuit or such.... i basically need it recieve the microwaves ... actually i want something that can transmit power without wires for a small distance .. say 10 - 50 feets... is there any other alternative ???

You can build a rectifying antenna but you will get close to zero power out of it. If you want to transfer substantial power, you will need to radiate more than you legally are allowed to. The alternative is to use an extension cord.

Microwave antennae are very precisely made. The theory is all published so you should be able to find it.

Finding something that will extract the power is going to be tricky.

Sending microwave power through the air is risky. If you get your eyes in the way of the beam you can be blinded in moments.
