I have been getting emals from my favorite sites...full tilt and mansion. No more net teller, no more e-checks, and so on...who is still playing, and how are you funding your accounts...i dont want to pay 5 bucks every time i transfer money, either.

It's not dying in the sense that the sites are stopping, but rather that it's becoming harder and harder to get money in and out of sites. This could lead to sites going under.

The biggest threat right now is that we don't know how financially stable these firms are. PokerStars is probably solid, probably Full Tilt too, but a big run on deposits on a lot of these sites could send them under. Click2Pay appears to be a good money transfer option, but PokerStars doesn't accept it and, as an independent private firm, no one knows how stable it is. ePassporte has some relationship with Visa (which should make it more stable), but I've heard dozens of stories of hidden fees and issues with getting money.

All things considered, it's hard to tell where the industry is going. It seems like most sites chose to remain open, but with the money methods drying up some may have no choice.

Pokerstars is thriving and ePassporte is their recommended method of cashing in or out.

Full Tilt is another big one.

All that has happened is there are fewer places to play and fewer companies that can transfer money for you. But it is far from dead in the USA.

Just remember to vote against the retards who passed this bill in the next election, and join the Poker Players Alliance to put pressure on the government to stop ignoring what the public want.

While it's very stormy in the online poker community, the storm will pass. Too many people love this game for it to go away this easy. The foreign community is not very happy with what the US is doing, and if a few large figures stand up the US will be forced into regulation. I wrote and article on the state of poker, you can read it here: http://pokerdynasty.net/rakeback.html

Epassporte and Click2pay are the way to go now, I believe. I play on several site, but I didn't have to deposit money in a while. So I'm not sure, but talking with many players ,and that's the answers they give me.

Take care
