I have tried looking for you on the Racing Post website and an American pedigree search engine, but no horse with the name Hobo's Skylark is registered. Is that definitely the name she raced under? You need to know her name when she was racing, not just the name she has now.

I am assuming she is a Thoroughbred, as only thoroughbreds can race legally. You can try talking to Weatherbys, the racing admin people, as they keep all the pedigree records and will be able to tell you about her pedigree and any foals she may have had, but again you must have her "official" name. If her name change has been allowed (normally once a horse has raced they are not allowed to have their names changed unless they leave the racing/breeding industry) they may have it on file.

Call 01933 440077 and ask for the Stud Book department. Alternatively you can email them on ihelp@weatherbys.co.uk and explain your situation.

Sorry I can't help you any more.

Hobo's Skylark is not listed by the DRF or www.pedigreequery.com so the best thing to do is go to www.bris.net and pay to pull a pedigree page...that report (can't remember the number but look for the catalogue style page 5 cross) will also have her produce record.....good luck
