Considering what is commonly believed that we are a composition of both, material (body) and spiritual (soul), I would choose both.

Why deprive one side at the expenses of the other. Balance can't be achieved this way.

So the choice is your. Are you all spirit or matter?!

I made my choice-the spiritual path but that is not spiritual in the western sense or anything to do with theology. I'm interested in pursuing the Buddhist path to enlightened consciousness.

Spiritual 100% This is why we are here in the first place.

God says if you cast your eyes on me, I will bless you...

When you live spiritually you GAIN the material stuff through His Blessings.......

I would choose the spiritual, because the physical dies. Spirit Lives forever. Even when I am gone, my kids will know my love. They will know the peace that I had.

2 Cor 4:16-18 Therefore we do not lose heart. Even though our outward man is perishing, yet our inward man is being renewed day by day. For our light affliction, which is but for a moment, is working for us a far more exceeding and eternal weight of glory, while we do not look at the things which are seen, but at the things which are not seen. For the things which are seen are temporary, but the things which are not seen are eternal.

Rom 8:5 For those who live according to the flesh set their minds on things of the flesh, but those who live according to the Spirit, the things of the Spirit.

Coll 3:1,2 If then you were raised with Christ, seek those things which are above, where Christ is, sitting at the right hand of God. Set your mind on things above, not on things on earth.

As a Christian the word of God exhorts me to look at things unseen which are eternal, to set my mind on things of Spirit and on things above. This is what it takes to seek first His kingdom and His righteousness and to walk by faith and not by sight. The spiritual must take precedence over the material to live the abundant life in Jesus.

Material, although both are shallow to hide from the real world. If you are going to live in a fantasy world, you might as well have some cool stuff.
