Hi, I was working the local ER one day when a patient from a hip transplant came in. She suffered through her replacement came slightly ajar from whenst it should have stayed.

The treatment was initially steroid injections, administered to be self-injected, and pain medications. However your situation seems to involve neuropathy and diabetes as a compication.

Your best bet is to go to a specialist in endocrinology. One who chooses diabetes to specilize in. There are a pair of Brothers who practice medication in Alabama. They go by the last name...
(I'll tell you in private email if you want this).

Depending on where you live, however, this may not be feasable. They are very good at what they do in their field.

I hope this has helped. Keep in mind, there are specialists nationwide. With the most important part of selecting a physician being, in my opinion, open-mindedness, and assertiveness.

God Bless,
Dr. D.

i would be very scared too, you have a young one that you need to keep up with. first off and most obvious, you need to lose some weight, no way around that. secondary, start eating foods that contain omega 3 fatty acids think salmon, flax seed and other good sources. strength training should include side leg rises and don't forget to stretch muscles. I am a huge runner and my hips always kill me and it is always my fault i need to stretch. keep positive and realize the body repairs itself just take care of you and then you can take care of your baby.
