I'm always constipated, I go to the bathroom for No2 only once a week if I don't take laxatives. A few day ago I bought a 100% "natural" laxative, and I was wondering, how often is it ok to take it?
I tried prune juice and other natural stuff but nothing really worked.

Instead, take a stool softener every day. They have them in pill form. MUCH safer than laxatives. You won't get addicted to them. After taking laxatives for a few weeks you won't be able to go without it and that's bad. Believe me, after a few days you'll be going like clockwork.

You can get them generic at Walmart, Target, etc.

The concerns with laxatives is that they can dehydrate you. The most "natural" laxative is water. Are you drinking a lot of water and not pop and juice? I would try supplementing fiber into your diet and drink LOTS of water before going to laxatives.

my dad did no.2 only once a week & never took laxatives. he was healthy. You should read the box of that laxative to see how often to take it. Warning: if it's metamucil it might make you worse off

it should say on the box how long you can take it. You really should go to the doctor. Also, make sure you are drinking enough water everyday, not drinking enough can keep you backed up.
