Certainly you can!!! All it takes is determination. You may have to find new friends, a new job, a new place to live, or new hobbies to be ABLE to make the changes (depending on what the changes ARE) but it can be done! I am living proof of that. :) A person who genuinely wants to change the bad that they have done may also want to - or may already be - investigating religion. Belief in God can cause us to want to change. God will then give us the strength to carry out those changes and the fortitude and patience to remain changed!

I have heard that if you follow a new routine for 21 days you can succeed in changing a bad habit. For myself I also use reward systems. I set a goal and set little rewards as I continue to move toward the goal. At the end of the goal I have a bigger reward, maybe an electronic device I've been wanting. Usually my rewards are books from amazon.com
I'm kind of a slob and my apt is always kind of messy
I've made a goal to get it cleaned up. But I have to keep it that way for 2 months before I get my reward which is an electronic device under $100 that I want.
Everyone is different. and it depends on the problem. I've had to see therapist before to help me change some things. And there are the support groups for just about everything and if its drugs or alcohol there is AA and is it NA (not sure). i wish you good luck.

What do you mean by bad things? You mean bad habits? You sure can - it's not always easy, but you can do it.
